Bio:
In order to fulfil the lack of glamour in the Rock scene on the turn of the millennium, Danny & Thomas joined forces to put up a Glam Rock band.
With a set list consisting in cover songs from Mötley Crüe, Guns 'N' Roses, T-Rex, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Backyard Babies & Pretty Boy Floyd.
After a few weeks of rehearsing, they started playing their first concerts.
Their infamous Glam look, and the explosive band’s performance draw the public’s attention.
That's when the band get invited to play at the Hard ‘N' Heavy Party in September 2001.
Feeling the need to express their own ideas, they started to write their own songs, which sound more aggressive and dirtier than their Glam Rock influences.
The first song, Wasted Generation, was immediately accepted by the audience, which grew up with every concert.
Their first EP, No Ass No Pass, was released November 2004.
The EP can be found on the band’s official website, http://www.bastardzweb.com and in stores in São Paulo.
It’s been also distributed in Japan through CD GOLD.
In Europe through Hot Shot Records, and in the U.S.A. through Perris Records.
Their first video Pills aired a couple of times at MTV Brazil.
No Ass No Pass, This EP is also the first one they recorded with singer Nat Reed.
Who's voice is so alike to Pretty Boy Floyd's and Shameless singer Steve Sex Summers.
Influences:
Backyard Babies, Guns 'N' Roses, Hanoi Rocks, Iggy & The Stooges, Marylin Manson, Mötley Crüe, New York Dolls, Poison, Pretty Boy Floyd, Ramones, Toilet Boys.
Album Review No Ass No Pass 2004:
Pills:
The insane background effects, spoken vocals and solid guitar riffs of Danny and Thomas, makes this song an great opening track.
This song is also the first video.
Grab Her By The Tail:
The sound is very alike to Guns 'N' Roses.
An great song, and another great job on the guitars by Thomas and Danny.
Wasted Generation:
This one has ripping guitars, and great lyrics.
Spider Sarah:
Is more an traditional Hard Rock tune.
Alleycat Spoiled Brat:
The last song of the bunch rocks.
The vocal melodies and Thomas his leads are the highlight of this track.
And the second video.
